Then I guess I am confused as to why it works (sometimes) at all on my computer. Why does CDCEther get loaded (yes, usbnet & acm also get loaded)? And why does it work? And why is there a Sharp Zaurus comment in the CDCEther.c source code? I guess I made assumptions based on reading some code

But if you blacklist it, it won't get used at all. CDCEther *is* used by the Sharp Zaurus connection (isn't it?). The problem it has seems to be with re-initialization If I rmmod CDCEther, acm, & usbnet and then re-insert it...it works. So something is not being re-initialized properly

HI folks, I new here on this email list. I have a Sharp SL-5500 PDA that *used* to work on my system. I've done something (stupid) to my system such that I can no longer get the USBNET connection to work. I'm trying to figure out what it is. In a nutshell, the log messages for CDCEther now
