effectively and therefore prone to corruption on multi-user database
access.

1 GB to 2 GB seemed to help somewhat but not
completely.
Adding memory improved things - OpenOffice chows a lot of memory - so
perhaps you should try 4gig on the server ?

8.0/10mbps nics the performance was surprisingly good.
I would not recommend a wireless link to server though - there you
should look at an access point with a 1gig uplink.

1) tftp on Mandrake runs chroot so the default tftp path was not valid.
2) Had a problem with OpenOffice menu' s being very slow - problem was
solved by copying LTSP3.0 keyboard maps into the LTSP

I thought I might post this in case someone else have the same problem
after upgrading to ltsp4. I'm running ltsp4 on Mandrake 10.0
I found that often Mozilla and occasionally OpenOffice causes an ltsp
client to crash.
I tested with both 32m and 64m clients and the problem was the same.
