Does your CPU fan behave/sound like it is working normally? The next time you
boot the computer you might want to check the /var/log/messages and see what is
causing the Kernel panic, keep an eye on the CPU temperature as well.

Could also be because you have not defined any BW channels. The default may be
to implicitly deny all traffic. So you may need to define at least one
channel that explicitly passes some traffic.
