compiling 1.3.3 on suse8.2

Hi A small query on compiling 1.3.3 on suse8.2. I can get to compile (qt frontend) without any problems (after upgrading to the correct gcc), but it doesn't seem to inherit the same settings for other kde apps. Neither does middle-click-in-scroll-bar work, which I've come to rely on. Is

Have you thought to move the qt-x11-free-3.2.1 directory path to just qt so that it reads as : /disk-b/hiller/qt/bin/moc /disk-b/hiller/qt/bin/uic Just a thought but Trolltech README mentions doing this after untaring the archive. and thus your $QTDIR will not have qt-x11-free-3.2.1 in its

Is it possible to see the text flagged for an index entry on the main LyX window? If there are a lot of indexed words then all we see are little rectangles with "idx" on them. Makes reading the text an adventure in interpolation. :-) Or, do folks _not_ mark any text for indexing until the
