I've got everything the way I want it except for one little thing that I
just can't get to work.
My document's laid out with a ToC, List of Figures, List of Tables and then
the main body of the text. My problem is
I have a Lyx 1.6.4 (beamer) doc created on Ubuntu 9.10.
I have moved it to a WINXP box with Lyx 1.6.5
It opens fine but won't compile. I have tried DVI, PDFLatex and PS2PDF
all with the same errors
I get 4 errors

Check the latex installation on the troubled computer. Is babel missing,
or is there no support for english ?
It's a fresh install of Lyx/Latex and I watched babel being listed
during the install.
I'm not sure how to check for english support but will have a look

I have already written my thesis in report document class and when i take a
hard copy of my thesis i get abstract, acknowledgement and chapters at even
page.
I want each of them to appear with a new page.
Any more suggestion would be of great help.
