Hi, I am installing the latest MikTeX version (2.9). What is to do to make LyX use the new version? Is it enough to change the path in the settings to C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex\bin which would be pretty easy? Thx. /J.

I am not familiar with this package but I wonder whether it will work if you use the full path to the .MSF file? I found the solution, it was just a blank space in the path. It works now.

Hi I have a LyX document into which I want to insert XY-pic diagrams, I have LyX 1.6.6.1. I have followed the instructions in the Using XY-pic in LyX by H. Peter Gumm (29 Dec 2008). The problems I have are:- 1) The diagram won't render in pdf, get error !pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file xyd.enc):
