I almost got Lyx 1.3.0 to work. (Is it

My new problem is: I can't use LyX files

Thanks for the hints! :) For some reason my
new Cygwin did not download python. After I
installed python, LyX 1.3.0 seems to work
find with my old lyx files. But I must say,
I wonder how a person with no IT programming
experience could install LyX on Windows; it
is too difficult I think
