The help screen of emacs po-mode suggests that there exists
a lexicographical function in gettext.
Did somebody use it ? Is it worth investigating ?

Sometime the pdf-images converted from epstopdf look bad after rendering
with pdflatex... (I don't know).
A compatiblity tag must be set in eps2pdf, see the tex2pdf-devel archive.
