I cant actually get elsart to work here as it tells me i am missing the .cls file required. Anyway have you tried just pressing enter and then adding another author on the next line. In many classes this produces a comma seperated output with the last author added as 'and' eg lyx input

I have finally managed to sort the headers and footers of the TOC, LOF, LOT but am having real trouble with the Bibliography. Anyone know where the page format for this is?? It would also be useful to make it single spaced rather than double like the rest of the doucument so redefining the

Sometimes when i alter the contents of a file that is included in the master file the master doesnt seem to update. IE if i then generate a dvi or pdf, the changes havent been incorporated. The solution that works is to shut lyx and relaunch it. Is this a known bug??? Am I missing something

Hi I have a multipart document, at the end of which I want to add a bibliography. How do I make the bibliography 'global' so that its contents can be seen from all the parts. I really dont want to have a bibliography at the end of each chapter. Geoff

Hi I have my headers sorted now for my chapters and they are looking really good, ust how i want them. I have even maanged to redefine {plain} so that the chapter title pages put the page number in the right place consistent with the rest of the document. However another problem has arisen.

I have tested your problem on 1.3.5-QT for WinXp and whatever the bug it seems to have been fixed. I can select and replace using the first in the list, the only in the list etc I realise this is not the same port but maybe whatever the bug was has already been repaired. Hope this is of some
