How do I import a lyx (1.6.1) file, in order to append it to an existing one (also 1.6.1) in which I am currently working. I remember to have it in the 1.5 series, but now under Fileimport I find only 3 different CJK, HTML, Latex, NoWeb, simple text and table. Do I have to set it somewhere? I

Since I often have this problem, I've found a workaround ( not a nice one, but it works when the formats aren't too different). I simply change the number of the LyX format. Open your file with a text editor and see the second line e. g. \lyxformat 276 Change this number to match the number used
