PATH prefix is clean.
I installed TeX using i-installer.

Yup, that made it. The preview appeared. Just one thing, the
preferences file doesn't appear again in the ~/Library/Application
Support/LyX/ folder after I moved it. There's no problem with this?

The folders do exist and both, the temporal files and the PDF are inside.
Maybe the problem is path related.

Yup, GS 8.51 is installed and runs smoothly from a shell.

You might try the following. Open a shell and navigate to a PDF graphic
file of your choice. Then run
convert -verbose whateve

Hi. If I change the font type of a document (I'm using Lyx 1.4.3-4,
MikTex, Windows XP, article (koma script) class) the font won't change
either on screen or in the PDF.
What can be happening?

Thanks Jürgen but what I would like is that all titles use the Roman
font. If I use:
\renewcommand{\familydefault}{\rmdefault}
The same problem is presented, the titles keep the Sans Serif font.
