know that you can modify the pronunciations with the Acapela Group
InfoVox voices? Look in your /applications folder
and you'll find the tool to do this.

Yeah, alerts definitely work better. As long as you don't get a lot of
iMessages to the point where it's really annoying, or

no choice but to copy the dropbox.app file into my apps folder like I always
do. I did the thing that I usually do from
within package contents, but that didn't do much
