Just open the disk image file as you would normally open any mac
app. It will automatically mount on your system, and you can access
it from the finder as normal.

From what I've read so far George, this is your first foray with the Mac, so

Basically the way I was taught, you mount by hitting cmd down arrow on the smg.

Creating folders is as simple as using the new mailbox button on the
main mail screen when you're on the screen where you read your mail.
Simply click the new mailbox button, and it'll walk you through the
process. Rules are created in the preferences, (command-comma),

What anti virus program did you use. iv'e used clamxav with no issues what so
ever. and I've been using it for about a year now. Can you reboot in to the
consul and see if anything is up?
See if you can hold down command r and start your mac, then after about 30
seconds let go and start vo.
The anti virus I've got is smart surfing for mac. By a company called trend
micro.
I pressed command r, and went through the steps to repair disk.
I'm on the button, repair disk.
I press shift control option space, to continue, but nothing happens.

Actually press control option space. don't do the short key as it is not
necessary. if the button becomes dimmed you will know you excicuted the
operation. I've never heard of this software so let's hope someone on this list
has. so they can be of further help.
