Yep looks like this could have an affect on blind people for sure. THe only
thing I would suggest to anyone who is a podcaster to email iTunes and ask them
if there is a way round this or weather they would assist any visually impaired
people in helping the podcast fit the requirements.

Nothing crazy about this at all. We live in a sighted world, and I would
imagine it must be quite boring looking at an empty space where a cover art
picture should be.
It is a bit crazy for websites to include images or photos don't you think? Of
course not.

Because, command W only closes the current window with focus within an app.

Michael,
From what I understand,
1. The version of WinAmp for the mac was equivalent to about version 1.0 of
Windows.
2. The Mac version is not being developed any longer from what I hear.
3. I vaguely remember trying it a long time ago, and it was completely 100%
inaccessible.
I'm not trying to be rude, but what's wrong with VLC Media Player? It does
almost identically the things WinAmp does, and the things it won't do that
WinAmp could do, I've mostly found accessible alternatives for.

I have to disagree with you, and side with Lynn. I am a professional
musician and have two discs up on ITunes. One of the requirements was to
have album art for your disc. No, that wasn't a podcast, but hear me out on
this. I'm going somewhere with this.

Hi Chris,
Since the Vi market is less then 5% of apple's total market. do you really

couldn't you just create a single image to the correct specs, and have it
say Blind Artist or something similar, Then use that image for all
podcasts and discs? Kind of a protest image so to speak. It would satisfy
the iTunes requirement, and the sighted public wouldn't be thrown too far
off.
are we getting snippy? Is it necessary?

No. Not being snippy, just being factual.
Let's just drop it. I said how I felt, if you don't agree with it, that's

Actually since my podcast is strictly for the blind, that is covering

that.

It sounds like a graphics based PDF. You will need a virtual OCR program
like Abby finereader to convert it or alternatively email it as an

If memory serves me right, you can set pixel size within Preview, but any

Usually the iPhone is synced with iTunes, not dropbox. I don't understand
the need for dropbox to be in the equation for iPhone syncing. Anything in
the dropbox folder is automatically uploaded to the dropbox cloud - you
don't have to initiate any action, it is automatic.

But the point here is that they don't necessarily need to check. It could be
