Hi Everyone --
I have a G5 iMac that's several years old. It's currently running
10.4.11. I just purchased an iPod Touch and discovered that it won't
activate or sync with iTunes 9.x which is the newest version that
10.4.11 will run. According to Apple's site, which I should've checked
Your G5 iMac will run up to 10.5.whatever, mine has it and runs perfectly...
If you can borrow a copy of 10.5 you can install it, or Apple, MacAuthority
will be glad to sell you a copy... You also might check Amazon, sometimes

That's very generous of you to offer your disk. I would be willing to
drive out to borrow it, and purchase a replacement if something were
to happen to it, but if the os disk is Tiger, it won't work for me.
Tiger is 10.4.x, which I'm currently running. I need 10.5.x, which is
I'll ask a question that if there is an answer I have no idea if I'll ever be
able to accomplish. I am not very right brain but I have such a need that I
want to see if I can at least begin.
I have been working for years on a program that gets data from the Chicago

I wrote to the programmer tonight, here is what he uses:
As far as the program, you are right, there are lot's of pieces and each one is
coded in a different language. It seems silly to do it that way, but it's like
anything, you use the best tool for the job. Here is the list:
