Hi guys. this has just come to light that the following fix only works with OS 10.4 through 10.6. As OS X 10.7 has a flaw where the prefs files for itunes are no longer visible to the OS, this particular file set cannot be wiped or changed. I am investigating this issue through our iMac 2011

A few points. 1. There are a couple of full disk backup utilities (Carbon Copy Cloner and SuperDuper ) come to mind immediately. 2. I believe at least one VM version out there creates its disk images in a bundle that would allow TimeMachine to not need to copy everything for one small change.

My partition table is empty. No idea why. I can plug the drive in as a USB drive and access it. But when plugged into mhy router, nothing shows up in the partition table and nothing in the toolbar area of finder. The two links that apple support sent me on configuring back to my mac won't open.
