Hello Everyone,
You know, one list member wrote to me today saying that it seems as though
this list goes from one crisis to another. When I read this, I couldn’t
help but smile as, sometimes, it does appear that way.
Well, let’s put this particular crisis to bed, shall we?
First, let

I would just like to make one comment regarding your message. You write that

I, too, will be leaving if this doesn't clear up.
To limit the discussion to Mac OS X is ridiculous.

Shawn, I second every sentiment in your message. Like you, I'm going to wait
and see how things settle out before leaving, but yes, if this list only allows
discussion of the Mac, I will be leaving as well. Doing that would make me
very sad, I would miss all of you! As I've written before,
Hi,
Does this also get rid of all supporting files that an app may create during
install?
Does this also work for applications installed using an installer package, .pkg?
Thanks,

Thank you all for your responses regarding mass deletes using Gmail.
Additionally, thank you for pointing me to the unsubscribe information
which I was aware of, but when I figure out how to do a mass delete
and I want to rejoin I do not have that information at the bottom
Well said Donna

Donna and all,
There is nothing undemocratic whatsoever about taking
moderator-related comments off list. For mailing lists, it serves to
keep the group on track with few detours.
The democratic process does not apply here. When one subscribes to a

Hi all,
I'm having a weird app store issue on my phone. My phone says I have two
updates available. When I go into the app store, I see the two updates, but
rather than reading Update, it says open the App. And the Update All button is
dimmed. I've tried signing out and back in,powering my
This may depend on the view and steps you are using. The easiest way
irrespective of those things may be to locate the file in Finder, copy to
clipboard and paste it into the message.

Well, you're full of tips! :) I hadn't tried cmd-down arrow either. Usually
the folder has expanded just by using right arrow, but that didn't work this

Hi all,
How do I do this? If I press enter or Command-O on the subfolder it attaches
the folder rather than opening it so I can attach the file.
Cheers,
