Ok Dan I see this but I still do not see how to tell apple mail that I want to
put that address in the to, cc or bcc field. I've done control option a to get
to the address panel, which is the shortcut the menu under window gave me; I
then go to the people table, interact with it, arrow
where you can type
subject and so on!

corresponding mailbox on Apple Mail, will those messages still go into the All

If you're setting up messages for GMail addresses, make your filters in GMail,
and the separate mailboxes will be created by default. You don't have to do
anything special with Apple Mail, as long as you set up everything correctly
with GMail.

What mail provider are you using, if it's a major one I can probably provide
the correct server settings or someone else on the list can pipe up as well.
