My bank is with Bank of America, and so far I have not had any problems getting
on with Mountain lion. I wonder if it would help for you to change Safari to
say that you are using windows. If you want to do that, and you don't know how,
I'll have to go look it up since I can't

Check out the new, and
Prior to updating to Mountain Lion, I had no difficulties with banking. Now I
cannot do it on my Mac, despite following some suggestions with respect to
Java. I was always very, very nervous about the idea of doing my banking on my
iPhone, but I do all of my household bill paying, and I finally
This depends on the bank site, but I access mine all the time using

I have done a clean install of Mountain Lion. Sadly, I no longer seem
to be able to access my bank account on line. Of course, Java is used
to give a secure connection.

Hi Martin.
I have had exactly the same issue, and I have fighted a big war to get this
fixed, and I hate Java for doing that. I have wann the war which makes me
happy, but we'll fase big issues in the future, if Java still won't care about
accessibility. I am so tired to fight that
I have a US Bank account, and while their page is poorly laid out, IMHO, and
needs to be grouped better, it's all very accessible, if keystroke-intensive.
THey claim they're making changes, so hopefully they won't go all java 3 on me

Well, I tell you that you have to be really happy about this. Having a totally
accessible bank website but java based login is seriously a pain sometimes. I,
hate, Java.

Hating Java won't make it any more accessible. Why don't we get up a committee
to present to the developers a reasoned and sound argument, including legal
issues and responsibility, and write it out without typos or spelling mistakes
and with good grammar, four-part harmony and feeling, and
Mark: Who should I contact regarding this issue? Apple don't care because they
don't work together with Java anymore, and Java is very difficult to reach. I
have tried without much success. So any suggestions are very welcome. My bank
can't do anything, because Java works for all Windows users
I do know that the Java developers are notoriously unavailable for contact. I
am also woefully ignorant of how the accessibility war is fought in other
countries, and so don't know who you turn to when you need to change things.
It just seems to me that if we found the correct application
