unarchiver, put in your bookshare password, and it extracts the file just as on

You have to be signed up for the NLS' program for the blind physically
handicapped. After that, you're eligible to borrow from the Library of
Congress's music program. So, if you're receiving books from your state's
lending library or downloading books from them, you're good to go.
I'm sure it's not a login screen because I have tried entering my password and
it won't go to the desk top.
Also, if I manually turn the computer off and then turn it back on, it goes
straight to the desk top.

I do hold the power button to turn it off, that's how I can get the desktop the
second time.
I shut it down with the regular shut down sequence via the apple menu to shut
it down when I am done with it.

Okay, I went into Mail and new messages downloaded automatically. I then just
used arrow keys to move through the messages. They all just said blank blank
blank before the name of the sender, etc. Hmmm, what am I missing here?

processor is more trouble than what its worth. Won't upgrading the processor
also mean a new heat sync and fan as well? The easiest way to improve
performance is to always upgrade RAM

acetone used to clean the heat paste off the old heat sinks to re-attach
them to the new processors. Dunno if I would attempt that.
