You need to delete the old update before installing the new one.
Go to settings, general, storage and iCloud usage, manage storage (in the
section for the device, not iCloud) and delete from there.

Yes, this was my experience with my 2009 MBP. If the brightness is set to 0
then it gets restored to 100% on reboot or re-login. I usually keep my
brightness at 3-6% and rarely find it getting reset except when somebody else
uses my system. :-)

but I seriously doubt they would implement it in such a way as to allow users
to completely print a check on a blank sheet of paper. This is because the

The numloc function disappeared when Macs stopped using the Power PC chips and
went to Intel. So, it went out with the PowerBooks and iBooks (yes, there were
laptops called iBooks). It has not been available on any variety of MacBook,
Air, Pro, White, Black, etc.
