Sorry one more point on Teams, with the Macintosh turn off cursor tracking for
best results. There are a few places where a pop-up gets triggered by a focus
event to bring up a menu. Specifically, the Name tag in a conversation will pop
up choices of Call / Private Chat /who knows what else
There are two versions of Teams, so it gets a little confusing.
The business version integrates into One Drive and has good accessibility
features including AI based auto transcriptions.
Teams on Windows is making a transition from an Electron App to a WebView2 app.
I have no idea how
Attending a meeting should be relatively easy, as you need only interact with
the meeting controls rather than the larger Teams application.

It is accessible but I find it fairly clunky if I am honest I find using Teams
on the iPad more intuitive but the MacBook versions will work but you need to

platform to be much easier to comprehend and navigate. It will be laid out with
the tabs across the bottom as with most apps then things like your messaging

Yeah, I have to say I vastly prefer Slack to teams. but I am able to get by
with teams on my Mac. The current version does seem to have some problems with
jumping to the search field. Also, the contact buttons can get in the way on
the Mac if you try to tab around too much, this might be one

Hi Jonathan,
On my more tab I see camera, call, safe and tasks. I can chat with no problem,
but when I am receiving calls, I can answer them through Skype. Anyways, as it
seems Teams is not for personal use yet.

I have experienced the issue with notification problems but the notification
window will often go away if you wait. Since I am impatient, what I do when I
get stuck in the notification window is to use the close window command which

shortcuts and not the VO ones.
It sounds like you are not logged into the teams interface. There might be
another window lurking around asking for your email and password. The Teams app

Mhy company started using Teams a couple years ago. It is significantly more
accessible now and there are some things I can easily do on Macintosh as
compared to my Windows environment. I however mostly use Teams for chats and
for audio meetings/calls.

I have been using Microsoft Teams with my iPhone for several months now and
find it to be quite accessible. I don’t like the chat feature as there are a
lot of extra items I don’t need, but the calling feature is quite straight
forward.
The Windows desktop version is a tougher beast to tame
. This was no slouch of an iMac
either. The iPad version of Teams is much more usable, although I’m not near
as familiar with it as with Google Meet/Hangouts or the Zoom environment.
