Hari,
I don't know which version of MIFSHAPE you are using, but the problem
may possibly be with MIFSHAPE. It has misbehaved for us in the past
also. However, it is also possible that there is something in the MIF
which is causing the problem, as this has also occurred for us. It

This strategy is to keep the workhorse product, such as

When you submit a question for the MapInfo quiz, please include your

Does anybody know of a utility that will allow you
to select a data point in a MapInfo Table and then show a graph (such as an x,y

Any help would be appreciated.

Only thing I can do is modify a rastor image to make a color transparant.

Hi Sergeant,
I believe that Informix/SpatialWare for MapInfo are not supported on Windows
2000. Only Windows NT 4.0 with service pack 5.0.
Try contacting MapInfo corporation for more information.

Hi Gert -
What about putting a column in that carries a city ID - populate that
column with an identifier on which you can select points related to
individual cities. If you can't currently save your query in the workspace,
it was probably a selection based on the Marquee or radius select tool

Dear all,
I was inquiring into whether there are any solutions to thematically mapping more than
the allotted 230 classes as set out in MapInfo 5.0. I am trying to map some 248
