Check to see that the table isn't already included in what you open in your
workspace. Sounds like you are trying to open it twice. If the table is
NOT an MI table (excel spreadsheet or Access database, for instance) try to
uncheck the 'table is mappable" box.

geographic operator, and can't be used to select substrings. I think you
should try the following select with wildcards:
