're running into bug 5616 alright - we don't know exactly
what causes it. If we use the SGX driver from Nokia N900 + it's
libraries, the problem does not manifest.
Could you note down the version of SGX drivers/GFX package you use in
the bug report?

pretty much same image as N900, but drop in 'official' TI OMAP3 GFX,
the fonts corrupt. We've seen that when using the N900 sgx drivers on
Beagleboard, this problem doesn't manifest..

I'd like us to use same SGX driver on all OMAP3 devices, yes. We've
verified it worked on Beagle, but it requires that everyone uses the
same kernel side driver too, that is, you should be working with the
MeeGo kernel directly and contribute there.

We did it like this in the N900 hardware adaptation, starting out as a

OpenGL ES stack being closed source is not a problem.
If you have DRI, DRM, X11 driver and source for these, you need to
integrate these into kernel and package them into RPM packages

So, to keep people in the loop:
* We have deployed speedrpm in devel:toolchain and it seems to work
fine. Hardfp patches doesn't seem to kill anything, devel:base was
sanity checked on armv7l side.
* We have just started speedrpm in devel:base to verify there.
* We're still exploring the KVM iss
exibility.
If there's no objections, I'll submit this towards the various places
the archs needs to be supported in.
