This is from a write up I did on my W123, I think the only difference may be
the tool that you use to poke in there to release the tumbler, the w126 may
require a two prong tool which has an steep angle towards the middle on both

sure I stopped on hills. Did fine until I filled up in N. GA. As I popped
the clutch it went. I made it from there to Ocala with no clutch or

may be fuel starvation. I noticed a lot of debris in the primary (small)
fuel filter so I suspect I have crud in the fuel tank that is clogging the
in-tank fuel filter. The car starts and runs fine initially, but after

something to transport the car legally. You will need

ON is a good start. What settings do you have to worry about?
12V automatic shutoff (if you have it) is all you usually need to
select. Some have a low rate that is good for motorcycle and
other smaller batteries, but the
Since I've last driven it, it seems to have developed a low rpm
growl/wooo sound (from about 1000 to 1200 rpm). It doesn't do it at
idle 9900 rpm) or when the rpm is above 1200. It does it independent
of any steering going on but you can feel the noise it the steering

The 2-speed automatic was good to some 45-50 mph in first gear.

engine. The thing that sucked a bit was that all the '60s Mustangs used the
same AC parts as the Falcon. The Mustang boys generally had more
