The 617 has a small tensioner nut that takes a 10mm socket to
release or increase the tension on the belt. It moves the
compressor toward or away from the engine after you have loosened
the holding bolts. You can see it in the manual pdf 83-522 on
page 18 as nut 3 on clamping screw 4. Check
The one I bought for cheepcheep is not too bad, it runs fine but has
some neglect that could easy be sorted out with a bit of time and
money. But in the meantime I will drive it and enjoy it. I like the
body style a lot.
