My wife and I watched an ad the other night for some new phone with a 40+ megapixel camera. A quick glance at my iPhone 5 shows that there are no choices for image resolution. All of the real digital cameras I've had have a setting as does my GoPro. On the iPhone I've got the Photobucket app, most stuff goes directly there for distribution. -Curt Date: Fri, 30 Aug 2013 22:50:23 -0500 From: Rick Knoble rickkno...@hotmail.com To: Mercedes Discussion List mercedes@okiebenz.com Subject: Re: [MBZ] 108 photos Message-ID: bay403-eas423d377d4d78edc1f10a7dadd...@phx.gbl Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii On Aug 30, 2013, at 6:12 PM, Craig diese...@pisquared.net wrote: My Nikon Coolpix 775 has different sizes of pictures one can choose between. You might be able to get a paintless dent repair guy to work those creases out of the left rear quarter. They'll probably want you to agree that they might crack the paint and won't be responsible if they do. I've found that the older MB paint is pretty resilient. I had one of the classic dings in the top of the fender on a 108 taken out without damage. Worst case, the lines of the car are right and the paint has some cracks. That's easier to hide than the dings. Dan On Aug 30, 2013, at 5:19 PM, Kaleb C. Consider that you have a tendency to either flip stuff or sit on it for a while. It's not going to appreciate in value, at least not for some time. If you let it sit it's going to be problematic, as the fuel system won't like it. I think you would be wise to pass. At least until you find me a nice finnie like the one you bought cheap off of Toad. Dan On Aug 30, 2013, at 6:15 PM, Kaleb C. Re: [MBZ] 108 photos
Now that was a car that was an example of a car that was a mistake to buy. Toad had it a long time, stores it inside so it could sit for a long long time. I do not have any indoor storage so it sat outside. And old car like that will ruin quick because they usually leak water. So that car filled up with water and got all musty and moldy inside. I ended up selling it for about $600. So that is what I would be worried about with this car. If and when I get a big shop build and can store cars inside, then I will think about it. I would still like to have one someday. It's bad enough leaving my 115s outside. As to more modern cars like a 124, you can leave them outside and they will not leak water etc like an old car Sent from my iPhone On Aug 30, 2013, at 5:22 PM, Dan Penoff d...@penoff.com wrote: Consider that you have a tendency to either flip stuff or sit on it for a while.
