I'm sure that's the case. That's what Worldpac does. A lot of the online parts retailers are using a customized "front end" that utilizes Worldpac's system. When you order it just goes to Worldpac and they drop ship from one of their warehouses with the seller's information on the pack slip and shipping label. Re: [MBZ] 126 Rubber WUZ: ADMIN
Notwithstanding the lag time in delivery, Autohausaz.com is the cheapest parts source I have come across. Makes no difference where i order from. It takes a week to get anything unless i can buy from FLAPS. once in a while it is less, but I figure that is a bonus. If I try to anticipate everything i'll need, i end up with unused parts. If I take things apart, then order, I have a vehicle down for a week (or 2 if the unforseen happens) Sometimes I end up taking the car apart 2 or 3 times as parts trickle in. Its a lot less frustrating to keep one old MB in ready reserve. Then if you have one down waiting for parts, you can still carry on. Right now I have cars scattered over 1500 miles, and that is not good either... ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Autohaus uses the stupid UPS/USPS arrangement for their cheap shipping. This is the equivalent of a slow boat to China. Clarification: OEM part. I will give Autohaus credit for sourcing lots of little bits that are stupid expensive at the dealer, even with a discount. A good example of this is the O rings for the oiler tubes on the M119 engine. From MB they're like $2/each. Something like $0.35/each from Autohaus, and they often come in the original Carl Reinz bag, too. I needed a thermostat for the "new" S420, as it takes forever to get to working temperature (I'm assuming it's got the original thermostat in it.) From the dealer it's like $45 my cost, the same OEM thermostat from Autohaus is under $30 shipped. I have ordered from Autohaus on occasion when I’m not in a hurry and I need an OE part that’s far cheaper in the aftermarket, like a thermostat. The thing I find amusing is that they state quite clearly that they ship the “same day - or the next” and nothing I have ordered has ever shipped the same day I ordered it, even when I ordered on a weekend and they had plenty of advance time to fill the order. And that history has repeated with the current administration. Except this time we surrendered after we won. We left the vacuum that spawned ISIS. We set up the Middle East for a nuclear arms race. At the same time we created a domestic welfare state with almost half the people living off the rest and exploding the National debt. That's not politics, its facts. MBZ content: Does anyone know if available 126 suspension rubber is any good? Should I replace the 1982 stuff or keep it? I replaced 123, 124 and 126 rubber with Lemforder from Q. So far so good. I think if you can buy Lemforder, it will be ok. None of it is 20 years old yet, but the oldest is 7 or 8 years old and appears to be good so far.
