We looked at squallmart Tomtom is made in india, Magellan is Kalif.
and Garmin is KC Magellan had the most info on the box, and seemed
to be the best value there. (139) Vs garmin at 169 and tomtom at 139.

The ummm vendor locks out true GPS, so you have to use assisted GPS,
and the server that you need to connects to requires a digital
certificate before it will talk to you.

We really like our Garmiin Nuvi 255W. The voice is great in crowded,

$200 at SAMs Club, even routes me around traffic.
