Yes-I got the badge and certificate kit-but they don't check the VIN.
After I sent mien in, I went to buy a VIN key and found that the
VIN that I used that was on the old MT title was off by a digit. So

How about trying the old - "loosen and re-torque" the head bolts
trick? Could it hurt anything?

The form has had a place for the dealer validation but it hasn't been req'd
for at least 15 years - thar's when I got my 1st Award. I called MBNA to
ask about the validation because the dealer knew nothing about my car as
