Sorry, I got distracted from the original question. I thought we
were talking about a Diesel. But yes, most 123, 124, 126, 110, 111,
108 etc. vergassers either have a tray that will fit a group 49, or
the group 49 tray will fit in the chassis.

Only thing masochistic about a Citation is changing the spark plugs on the
back bank of the V6 models. They were actually pretty good cars and the x11
model handled very well and was quite quick for a 2.8liter.

Citations ever all bondo, rust and grey primer. One time it wouldn't run so I
went over to help. When I pulled out the spark plugs the electrodes were GONE,
missing, not present at all.

make junk parts and cheat on everything. The sheetmetat was crap,
the plastic parts weren't made right (and the managers at the
production plants lied about it) quality control was about par with a
Soviet factory, etc.
A few weeks ago I replaced the head gasket on my 96 Chebbie turck (5L
v8) as it was barfing coolant out the back of the head. While generally
a PITA job it went OK and I was careful to take notes, read/follow the
Chiltons and some other stuff I found on the tubernets. Got it all back

Not familiar with that engine, but those are the most likely.
Also possible you have a bad intake gasket at that cylinder, so it's

Be careful with coolant test strips, for a number of reasons:
1.) They have a shelf life.
2.) There are literally 20-30 different types of test strips, for testing the
pH to testing for the presence of various additives, like DCA.

but where they are pressed into the plastic.
It was exacerbated by a plugged tank vent.
Also, do the 603's have a solenoid shutoff valve? If so, replace the o-ring(s)
behind it.
