Believe it or not, I can buy Federal 9mm at my local Walmart cheaper than
anyplace else. They never seem to have a lot of it (turnover?) but when they
do I snag it.

They guy you bought the S430 from! He was a nationally-ranked tennis
player in college, had a full ride to Univ Hawaii. Playing all these
years really beat up his hips, pretty much wore them out. He never let
it slow him down much (at least his intent) but the pain got to be too

I’m getting ready to go buy a Walther 9mm PPQ M2 with a 5” barrel in a couple
of days, too. Then I’ll have to start laying in the 9mm ammo. Youngest son
gets back from his field study thing in AZ in another month and he’s going to

Whoa Larry sounds like warranty repair time, or some JBWeld in that
bone... My FIL had a similar problem with a new hip, ended up having to
get it done again (this was #2 so it had to be replaced after replacing #1).
My buddy is leaving next Saturday to start a Portland (OR)

It's cool outside but quite warm in the studio.

We don’t have Cabela’s in Florida, just Bass Pro Shops, which are stupid

I’ve seen some good deals on Cabela’s Gun Library web site, but they’re hit or

Yup, like that one only nicer. I don’t think this one has ever been fired.
I’m pretty sure it’s the only semi auto model they ever sold in the States.
Yes, 2500 shells. Got a heck of a deal at Dick’s last year so I loaded up -

Congrats on getting that new shotgun! Anytime you can find a
bargain at Cabela's, gotta go for it. I usually get some reloading

another couple/few weeks. Still recovering from Knee Replacement #4

As usual, it’s hotter than Hades and humid like the Amazon, so I got out early
(8:00) and swapped the fuel filter on the E320 and drained/refilled the power
steering reservoir. I really like those special clips they use on later model
hoses - with my special pliers they just snap off and clip b
