So, I had to deactivate some cards because I didn't need them for an exam,
and when I tried to activate them again, there was an error message. I
uninstalled Mnemosyne countless times in hope that it would work again, but
it didn't resolve the problem. With that, all the cards were gone

I doubt that the cards are gone from your database. Feel free to mail me your
default.db file privately so that I can have a look.

the recent release of Mnemosyne seems to be buggy. Try the prerelease version
of Mnemosyne. I've had a similar problem too, but when I use the prerelease
version, I can import and export cards like before. The syncing with my cell
phone still doesn't work.

Could you delete the Mnemosyne folder and try again with this version:

That way, the phone will print out more info about what's going on.
