Blame it on MGM. Years ago, I talked about this with somebody who managed one
of Berlin's largest premiere cinemas back in the days. He was in the position
to take home any kind of advertising material he was interested in. And he sure
did…
He said that MGM did not care much about the small

I would like to offer that I decided not to bid on the two posters I was
most interested in. I am quite certain they sold for less than had I
participated. In fact, the prices I saw were in what I would consider my
acceptable range. Had I bid I know I would have paid more than I really
wanted to

So what? Some items fetched high
We have had this discussion several times. People tend to collect
memories and mostly during their middle age period from 40-60 years old.
These days, stuff from the 1960s and earlier are before they were born, so
they can only relate to a few timeless classics. 80s and 90s are red hot
now.

So what? Some items fetched high prices, but there were still a number
which were unexpectedly low, certainly in the lower ranges. Just wondering
if MOPOers have any ideas as to why that should be so.

I watched the auction. It felt like there were not that many people
