Causation is not the same as correlation. Shoefiti and crime occur in the same neighborhood. A study can show the correlation between one and the other. There may be some unknown events or actions that are causing either the shoes or the crime or both. To know for certain what is causing

We own and live at the property directly north of Clinton Field and know exactly what Ms. Young has reported regarding shoes and power lines. After a year of complaining to the MPRB about overgrown brush on park property directly underneath this power line, a crew finally cleared it out last fall.
