Well, I dont post here a lot, but I know there is a zip decompressor for MSX.
MSXUnzip (Unzip217.com) if my memory serves me well 8)
AFAIK, it only works with pkzip1.0-like zipfiles.

Well, I'm running a save mailclient so it doesn't harm me neither.
Besides I doubt if the code would actually do something on a Linux box
It has an effect on MSX and Linux mail clients: it makes the
user ROTFLAL. :)))

I modified fMSX to add an external mapper to it and UZIX runs fine (I
don't have an external mapper to test UZIX on my TR.) KonamiMan told me
UZIX crashed with his external mapper. Anybody had the same problem?

and didn't it for IDE. UZIX uses the ROMBIOS of each
device it access to prevent problems (and also be compatible with most MSX
hardware). But I will really need beta testing for Novaxis. You're welcome. :)

I'm here to announce UZIX 0.1.8.
After a long time without public releases, here is a new version.
Many bugfixes and improvements were made, but I would like to
enumerate just three (the complete list can be found at

can handle more than 32 Mb partitions, but only if it's HD
instalable.
Also wrong. Read the texts at UZIX page. UZIX FS is 16 bits. A maximum of 32Mb
partitions can be used.
