Good point Kyle. It can be done but you have to lower the forks an equal amount you reduce the shock length. It will still change the swingarm angle which affects grip under acceleration and how much the rear lifts or sinks. In a nutshell it negatively affects handling. Better to get boots with thi

I'm 5'9" and just fit on my 700S, 5'8" could probably still manage but shorter than that and you'll be balancing on one foot or the other. I agree that the Corbin seat is the only viable option. Lowering the suspension isn't recommended as it changes the geometry of the bike and can affect handling
