I am similarly curious, Bill. The little bit of research I have done
regarding the UM175 indicates that it works fine with linux and a wvdial
configuration.

You can run that command in lower case. Case doesn't really matter on
Windows. They just put it in uppercase in the documentation so you know
that it is a command to run.
