hmm, are you seeing banding in the ramp/mask falloff or in the sky?
if it's only in the sky it could well be an issue
anyone has a cool expression to turn on the value every 10 frames?
like, every 10th frame it's goes to 1 for 1 frame then off to 0 the next
frame then on to 1 the next 10th frame for 1 frame
thanks

easier to read and less likely to cause problems)
so if you want to shift it by 5, you could do:
(frame+5)%24==0?4:1
note that if you want to get it to happen on frame 5, you'd have to enter
19 (ie. 24-9) as the offset.

Is there a way to create ocean swells using nuke's displaceGeo noise
nodes? idistort seems to be out of the question as it only wiggled xy.
I've been successfully using the glass gizmo from nukepedia to pull some
swells out of the original plate's luma. However, I would like to create

Is there a way to assing a shortcut to the selectedNode's lable tab, like
how we hit n for the node's name; instead, I wanted to hit n enter
the name into the label tab instead.

Is there a way to mix/finish the morph of the specific feature/rotoshape to
a different time? Let's say, I want morph from f1-50 but I want the ears
to finish 1st then the eyes then the mouth, etc. The splinwarp has only
1 mixwarp slider so it would affect all the rotoshapes at once, even if I
oh man... nuke 7, I need it now :-)

Has anyone realize that after unwrapping the uv through scanline render
use that as a material with the ApplyMaterial node render back out with
another scanline render node would degrading the image's quality?
Im attaching 2 images here if anyone want to check.

This is the reason that I always requested the roto artists to place each
rotoshape in its own node instead of packing everything into just 1 node.
It's so much easier for compers to use the individual roto nodes. Well, it
has its down side.

how about cc this to the support? :-)
yeah if the intention is to working horizontally like fusion then the
alignment that they have now is fine, but I believe that everyone here is
going down the tree with B pipe, not across with it.

I encountered one of the cool features on another compositing package that
I wish nuke would have, locking the ram cached flipbook/playback in the
viewer. Won't it be nice if somehow we could cache the plate into ram
preview lock that one viewer so that we could scrub it back/forth in

It has always puzzled me when using the alignment's shortcut L would put
your A nodes to the top B nodes to the left like,
A A

The new 'breakout layers' option for psd also align the nodes that way, but
