Re: [Nuke-users] shadows with matte

In Nuke 7 or 8, for ScanlineRender node, they enabled depth map shadows for only direct lights. You must enable cast shadows in the light properties and use the scale value of the light to make sure its "field of view" encompasses the receiving object. Nuke 10 has the RayRender in beta, which

You can use several remove nodes then merge 'all' channels. Though I would say it would be a good feature request to have a node that was dynamic. My first and only plugin I compiled was a tweaked remove node with 20 channels. On Mar 23, 2016 3:58 AM, "Pat Wong" wrote: >

Given that you are dealing with a proprietary environment, its anybody's guess whether or not the code is worth while to run. Most of the time, there is a smarter way that could require refactoring the code base. I will say this though, in Nuke 8 they added some dopesheet functionality for time

To me it looks like some kind of Optical Flow type of motion blur mixed with time echo. Perhaps mixed with a bit of flame type noise. Check out the flame patterns generate by the Noise node in this demo around 1:00 . Maybe applied with an IDistort or other node which would push the plate

Re: [Nuke-users] Projection question

If you project your plate into the UV space and unwrap it in Nuke, you will have effectively stabilized the texture. From there you could run a frame blend of some kind to average across the whole sequence, or whatever else you wanted to do. Mike On Tue, Oct 14, 2014 at 12:33 PM, Ron Ganbar
