typical. I am on a PC and dont have nuke installed.
Order of operation should be Image->CDL->display LUT. So unless there is
something in the CDL that is restricting the data being passed to the display,
I would say the issue is caused by the display buffer and what is being
and it went to the list !

make sure you viewer is directly connected to positionToPoints node or a scene
which contains that node or it wont evaluate correctly.

like pWorld or maybe zDepth and generally speaking the only thing I
would use a grade node for is to maybe normalise depth.

I didnt think anyone was still using the 95,685 style log ?
Most places I have worked in the past few years have been using the Josh Pines
technique:

reasons we are discussing. People used to
comp 8 bit and all sort of other upleasentness but that has moved on also.
More and more I am actually seeing linear .exr from Scanning labs also.

this is company specific. The Josh Pines style conversion will avoid negative

I would strongly advise against using fbx2011 in Nuke. Just go write to the
older 2010 format instead.

Off the top of my head.
Caching displayed in the timeline, a la after effects.
Image modeller 2.0
Primate 5.0
Blink accelerated Kronos, motion blur and deniose.
Rotopaint core improvements
Alembic
Exr 2.0
Opencolour IO
Timeline (clip nodes)
Some very interesting info about blink and how
then just delete keyframes
on the Source grid shape but this seems silly.
Anyone expereinced this ? Wanted to check if it was an actual bug before I go
reporting it to the foundry.
thanks,

Everything in Nuke is actualky 'HDRI' in the true sense if the word. But do you
mean render objects using IBL in the scanline renderer ?!
In the original masterclass Frank and I showed how to stitch a panorama he took

Nuke wants the Roto/mask shape
to be very accurate to the planar surface, whereas Mocha benefits from a
slightly looser shape.
I find that adjusting planar tracks is much more fluid in Nuke though. The
adjust track function in Mocha is still clunky and annoying.

Hey,
Just wondering if anyone has tried installing the Nvidia cuda drivers with osx
10.7.x on a MBP. I can see that the drivers for 10.7 only support desktop cards
and that the 10.8 drivers support mobile but I dont want to have to risk
upgrading to 10.8 as Maya and Nuke wont run on Mountain
@support.thefoundry.co.uk
Nuke runs on 10.8 but is unsupported; i read that as; not a guarantee that it
will work as advertised. Just keep 10.7 around if something comes up.
