I looked into this error message. It seems that hspeak is finding an old copy
of plotscr.hsd from before the higher layer numbers had been added.
Can you check to see if you have any other copies of plotscr.hsd, particularly
in the same folder as the rpg file

does not work at all on Android 5.0.1
It worked okay on the version I first tested it on (which I think was 5.0.0)

most noticeable on very short midi files that loop rapidly
