Looks like there is some orion core thread throwing these exceptions in
time slices divisible by 5 minutes. Sometimes one or more get skipped
then exception occurs in 10 or 20 minutes.
My code does not have any timed tasks and it's servlet/JSP
there is usually no message, and if there is, it's a null-pointer exception.
We deployed the same app on Apache (keeping the EJB's in Orion) and the
problem went away. Is this a known issue? In that case does anyone have a

I answered my own question. Orion chokes when comparing nulls in the
database. It seems that Orion generates comparisons based on the primary
key, even when you do the ejb equivalent of a "select *". I fixed this by
using the true primary key that was being used in the database table,

Ever since I updated from Orion 1.2.9 if my ejbCreate fails it always throws
NullPointerException, PrimaryKey was null. It used to return the exception
that I would throw. Note this happens in Orion 1.3.8, 1.4.0 and 1.4.4
