That can depend a bit on your hardware, but generally it is an option in the BIOS under something like "boot order". Sometimes the network card names are not very obvious. If you are having trouble getting the MAC addresses via a network boot you can just put them in a text file (one per line) an

Generally the easiest way to get the MAC addresses from the client nodes is to network boot them. This sends out a DHCP request which the head node can hear (if you have pressed "Collect MAC Addresses" button) and get the MAC address of that client node from. Then once the MAC addresses have been

Hi Pravab, Can you double check to see if caching-nameserver is in your distro repo(e.g., /tftpboot/distro/redhat-el-ws-4-i386)? I think it should be there. My RHEL4-AS machine has it though. If you can not find in your distro repo, we can still find one on the web and then download it, right? htt

Hi, No, I will be surprised if oscar5.0 installation does not work well with WS because the packages built for AS should work fine with WS too. Anyways, the oscarinstall.log file is from 4.2[.1] or 5.0? I highly recommend you to try to use oscar 5.0 unless you have any particular reason to use 4.
