Yo Bob,
are you taking the family somewhere or are you on business?
Our lot are off all week but I'm pretty much at work all days
on the valley grind - turbulent times...
Out for now and enjoy!

Try moving your 3rdParty SVN folder to the same level
as the OpenScenegraph SVN - this worked for me when I
had trouble with this a while back.
Cheers,

Hi Robert,
you will need an #ifdef Qt4 thingy to replace:
Qt::WDestructiveClose with Qt::WA_DeleteOnClose
See http://doc.trolltech.com/4.0/qt.html
or http://doc.trolltech.com/4.0/qt.html#WidgetAttribute-enum
You could also replace the USE_QT4 definitions with eg:
#if QT_VERSION =
with a higher resolution (live stream) on windows ?
Any other hints?
Thanks
Dieter

Hi Ariel,
I just tried setting OSG_NOTIFY_LEVEL to DEBUG and tried this
again with a 2.4 svn checkout and I get this:
G:\users\colin\OSGosgmovie Sample.mov
GraphicsContext::setWindowingSystemInterface() 00DD8730 1018C218
CullSettings::readEnvironmentalVariables()
Hi Linh,
related only to your ERROR:
ERROR 6: Unable to load PROJ.4 library (libproj.so), creation of
OGRCoordinateTransformation failed.
What you have is a version of GDAL built against PROJ dynamically so
that at runtime GDAL will attempt to load PROJ when neccessary. The

Hi Robert (JS and Paul),
I solved my WIN32 FreeType problem that I mentioned to you off-line.
If I rename:
~OSG/3rdparty/3rdParty_win32binaries_vs80sp1
to:
~OSG/3rdparty
then the CMake will configure correctly the variables:
FREETYPE_INCLUDE_DIR_freetype2
Hi Sherman,
This is sort of off-topic but I'm sure interesting to the community
none the
less. I was on the phone with a fellow OSG developer earlier today
complaining how slow the builds are on Windows and how I have this
quad core
sitting here not being fully utilized by my compiler.
Hi Adrian,
I've not documented anything on the wiki yet but below is how
the result was achieved on Windows XP. See my previous post for
any more detail. The demo/example is really just a quad with
your live feed playing - so a I've just tweaked osgmovie here
to force load the plug-in from a

Hi Byorn,
I've always had mixed results with multi-monitor configuration. There
are two multi-monitor options, horizontal-span or multi-monitor mode,
and several ways of setting these up via a combination of the Display
and the ever changing (for the worse IMO) NVidia settings dialog.
What I
Hi J-S,
That said, if some are having problems, I'm all for fixing them. I
just don't want false information spread about the different display
modes for using multi-monitor (or OSG's support for them).
This was not my intention. I did try to be quite careful in my wording.
I actually use
Hi Mike,
yup right now it'll work from an attached device as Stephan said
but in addition including a capture card, provided the device has
a quicktime driver installed. When I wrote the live feed extension
part of the work included support for a stream, however I did not
get that far and the
Hi Stephane,
are you running with any of the bundled OSG distro of 3rd-party libs?
Either http://www.mew.cx/osg/
or http://www.openscenegraph.org/downloads/dependencies/
I think these are only built Release for WIN32 and your mileage
may vary depending on the moon phase as to whether you may
