I recently bought one and have found it to be only somewhat accessible. I

I don't know of a difference between WMA and lossless WMA. I thought
WMA was pretty much a lossless format regardless. Alls I know is what I
read in the manual and hear from Creative technical assistance, that they
play MP3 and WMA with no reference to lossless WMA.

Gold Wave will both produce recordings of the same quality.
The secret is in your Sound Card but whatever you happen to have will
probably produce recordings so good that most no-one could hear the

It works well with JAWS and the $300 scripts for it and many people report

That's the way I use the cable box in my office. I have Times Warner.

Well Kathy I just went ahead and ordered one for $12.50 from
Independent Living Aids when I found out how inexpensive they were. Last I
knew they were $39.00.
They had three different models, one with a radio in it for $14.

Lynn! I would expect your TV Tuner Card to work fine with your cable
service. A TV Tuner Card is pretty much a TV without speakers or picture
tube.

I can't say first hand what the mic sounds like but for $119 and $149 I
imagine it sounds great. It doesn't take much to build a great sounding
microphone. Now recording music is a whole other subject.

My wireless keyboard goes up to 100 feet. I use it with wireless
