Subject: Using mp3 direct cut
Hi, I've trimmed a piece of music using mp3 direct cut and now I'd like to
save it in a file that has the clip playing 3 or 4 times in a loop. I've
seen the selection to play the clip in a loop, but how do you save
I thought I had a source for this program but can't find it in my saved
mail. I would appreciate a link to download it and any suggestions that may
be appropriate. Is it difficult to learn?

Personally I find the interface to mp3DirectCut quite confusing but

XP tricks you when it comes to the location of folders. The my music folder
is actually
located at:
c:\documents and settings\owner\my documents\my music
but fortunately mp3 direct cut remembers the folder you most recently used.

WOW! This MP3 Direct Cut program is sweet.
One question, though; is there a way to make a tune fade-out at the end.
I've a couple of nice hard to find MP3s that just quit maybe 3 seconds from
the end that would sound better if they would fade-out.

I have used mp3 direct cut to outline a segment and subsequently cut it using
the cut control
for which I don't believe there is a keyboard command. But it is easily
accomplished using a
mouse key

Harry could probably address this much better, but from what I gather all
you need do is follow the usual procedure of setting the beginning and
ending of a segment to be cut as many times and wherever in the MP3 that you
desire, then go to cut with your mouse router, then per usual to Save.
The keyboard cut command is c.
B for begin, n for end, and c for cut.

MP3DC has a checkbox option to beep on reaching peak (asterisk). I think
asterisk refers to the windows sound used. I haven't heard it. Only wonder
if that sound gets recorded as well when recording from the wave device.

3 go to edit menu choose pause detection hit enter

Is there a way to adjust pause detection? It sounds a bit like the auto
queue function in Goldwave.

I looked at the program and I can't undo my edits by hitting control z.
I honestly don't think this program is for me. I enjoy working with wave
files and I can make mp3s with an encoder I've got. Had this been around 2
or 3 years ago with my first computer with a tiny 4 gb
