Winamp will still play your mp3s. The sound forge demo does not take
Winamp's ability away to play mp3 files. You just have to purchase
the mp3 plugin for sound forge so that you can edit them. Winamp

Hi John
This still isn't making a lot of sense, since Sound Forge, either
demo or full version is not a player. It is a sound editor, and sound
editors do not make changes to your file types automatically.
What you should probably do is set Winamp to play all the file types

It's also very good to drink on a hot day, smile.

hi. Actually this is a very good thing for 2 reasons. Firstly and
most importantly, it shows that the program is under very active
development. This is good news because if something goes wrong, you
can write to the developer and you have a snowball's chance in hell
of getting a reply.

I didn't see it on the FS site either, so I'm not sure if it's still
available. I do have it though and it's very very good.

Well, chiming in here as I've used both, I would definitely have to
say that my favorite of the 2 is sound forge. However, I do find
Goldwave to be effecive if all you need to do is a quick touchup job
on somehing, or maybe add an efect or something. It all depends on
what job you wanna do.
