options lists for the Edirol R-09 original firmware release of 1.02 I
believe it was. I have upgraded it twice since and mine now sits at
Version 1.30. I know there's a Version 1.32 available, but I've not

The newest firmware, version 1.10, makes the Edirol R-09 SDHC

so easy for Roland to add two little things to its update program--a
sad or erroneous sound, like a downward tone sweep in a minor or
diminished key sequence to indicate failure, and another in an upward,

It records to a Secure Digital card. It could certainly be used to put
cassettes and LP's onto your computer. You would just record them with the
R-09 and copy them from the R-09 to your computer as if the R-09 were a pen

The R09 is definitely very useable. It has menus, but the menus do not
wrap, and there aren't that many of them. There are also some dedicated

Last year, I had the chance to play around with the Edirol R1 and I
noted, that one doesn't hear a thing, when one fast forwards or rewinds.
How is it on the R-09? If one can hear sound, does this work for MP3 and
Wave files?
